What it looks like

Cover of Contractor Office Bundle, Six Excel Workbooks for Small Crews
The Quote sheet from the estimate workbook, printed as a client would receive it: the company details at the top, the scope of work priced line by line, then a subtotal, sales tax, the total, and a signature block.
The Dashboard from the budget tracker, showing twelve cost categories side by side with original budget, approved changes, revised budget, actual to date and what is remaining, the categories already over shown in red. Below the table, a whole project block gives the contract value, the forecast at completion and the variance against it.
The Dashboard from the job costing workbook, counting jobs by status and totaling contract value, cost to date, paid to vendors and unpaid vendor bills across every job at once.
The Weekly Summary from the crew timesheet, one row per crew member for a chosen week, splitting their hours into regular, overtime and double time and pricing each band at its own loaded rate.

What it does

What you get

  • Contractor Estimate and Bid Workbook (Before the job): Price the work line by line and hand the client a quote that prints on one page.
  • Construction Project Budget Tracker (Setting the budget): Turn the number you won into a budget by category, and keep change orders apart from it.
  • Job Costing Workbook for Contractors (While the job runs): Track what each job is costing against what it was sold for, across every job at once.
  • Construction Crew Timesheet Template (Paying the crew): Record hours by person and by job, with overtime worked out weekly rather than daily.
  • Construction Change Order Log and Approval Form (When the scope grows): Log every change and get it signed before the work starts, so it can be billed.
  • Construction Punch List and Closeout Tracker (Finishing the job): Work the snags down to zero and check off everything the final payment depends on.
  • One Start Here guide for the set, saying which workbook to open at which point in a job and what to carry from one to the next.
  • Bought separately these come to $144.00. Together they are $49.00.

Who it is for

  • A contracting business of one to ten people that does its own paperwork.
  • A builder or remodeler who prices, runs and closes out their own jobs.
  • Anyone who has bought one spreadsheet at a time and ended up with six that do not agree with each other.

What it is not

  • Not accounting software. Nothing here connects to your bank, your payroll or your accounting system.
  • The workbooks do not read each other. They are separate files, and the guide says what to carry between them by hand.
  • No macros and no add ins. Every file is a plain workbook, which is why they open in Google Sheets.
  • Not a substitute for an accountant, a lawyer or your own judgment about what a job should cost.
