Questions

Everything worth knowing before you buy, in the order people ask it.

How do I get the files?

Some products check out on Gumroad. The card is handled there, and when the payment clears Gumroad emails you a receipt with a download link.

The others are bought by email. Press the Request to buy button on the product page, or write to hello@wedgepress.com. The shop replies with a payment link and sends the files once you have paid. A person does this by hand, so allow a little time.

The download is the finished file itself, not a license key or a login. Once it is on your computer it is yours and it keeps working whether or not this shop still exists.

What do I need to open a spreadsheet?

Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. The workbooks are built for those two. They are plain .xlsx files and they deliberately avoid the features that break when a file moves between spreadsheet programs. No macros, no add-ins, no external links, no pivot tables.

Does it work in Google Sheets?

The files are built to open in Google Sheets, and every workbook ships with the import steps written out. In Google Sheets: File, then Import, then Upload, then choose Replace spreadsheet.

Formulas, dropdowns, frozen rows and number formats carry over. A few things need setting again on the Sheets side, such as page setup and some of the color rules. Each product's guide says which ones, for that product.

Can I use this for my business, and for clients?

Yes. Use it in your own business, including on work you do for clients and on the documents you hand those clients, such as a quote or a report. What you may not do is share, resell or redistribute the template itself, blank or filled in, as a template, or include it in anything you sell.

What is the refund policy?

Every product page prints its own refund policy above the buy button, before you pay, so you can read the exact terms for the thing you are looking at rather than a general promise here.

In practice: if it is not what you expected, reply to the email you were sent when you bought (the Gumroad receipt, or the shop's payment link) and say so. There is nothing to send back, because you keep the files.

Will you build something for me?

Ask. If it is close to something already listed, the answer is usually quick. If several people ask for the same thing, it tends to get built.

Something is wrong with a file. Who fixes it?

Send it over and it gets fixed. A formula that returns the wrong answer is a defect, not a matter of taste, and a corrected file goes back to everyone who bought it.

How do I get in touch?

Email hello@wedgepress.com. A real person reads it. Replying to a Gumroad receipt or to the shop's payment link email reaches the same place.
