What it looks like
What it does
What you get
- An Excel workbook with four working sheets: Setup, Punch List, Punch Summary and Closeout Tracker.
- A punch list with two hundred rows ready to fill, a Days open count, and an Overdue flag set against a target you choose.
- A summary that counts every item by status, priority, area and trade, down to the one number that says whether the job can hand over.
- A closeout tracker with twenty five items grouped under Documents, Financial, Systems, Handover and Client, each with a percent complete.
- A printable PDF walkthrough form covering all twelve areas, with six ruled rows per area: a full width line to write the item itself, plus a shorter line for the trade, priority and who raised it, and three status boxes to check on the spot, because a punch list is written on site, not preprinted.
- Thirty five sample punch items and a sample closeout most of the way through, so every formula is working before you clear it.
- A Start Here guide with the numbered steps and the Google Sheets import.
Who it is for
- Builders and general contractors closing out a job who need the punch list and the paperwork tracked in one place.
- Small crews handling their own final walkthroughs and their own handover to the client.
What it is not
- Not accounting software. It does not connect to your bank, your payroll or your invoicing system.
- Not a warranty document. The Closeout Tracker records that a warranty certificate exists; it does not issue or word one.
- No inspection service. Nothing here certifies that a system passes code; it records that the certificate for it is on file.
- No macros and no add ins. It is a plain workbook, which is why it opens in Google Sheets.
